The only reason he isn't fat is that his body needs an incredible amount of food and he has a really high metabolism. If he didn't, his tendency to constantly eat would make him overweight very quickly. Simple Personality Personality: Grumpy, brutally honest, combative and constantly hungry. (note- he will never be afraid of flying in a storm, he just fears flying in the empty sky over ground) Bad Habits: capsizing boats, looking down on non-Khehoras who are smaller then him (which is most of them actually) In-Depth Personality He dislikes being in bright light, when traveling above water or on land, he tends wait for night. His parents have hypothesized that this dislike of bright lights stems from his method of birth. He has always loved being in the water, but after his accident (see Background) he now hates flying above land and just dislikes land in general. He stays underwater as long as possible and tends to not leave the water. He will leave the water to fight or grab food, but he won't go far from the waters edge. He will also leave the water to enjoy a rain storm. He likes fighting and if he loses, but its a close match, he is still happy. He will have found a rival to match himself against and check his growth. However he hates getting completely trounced cause it means that he didn't even have a chance. There is an argument among his two brothers that his poor conversational skills are the cause of his solitariness or if its the other way around. Either way he is usually alone and has terrible conversational skills. He doesn't see the point in lying to make others feel better and if asked, will give his opinion. His opinions tend to be short and rude. He doesn't really care about others opinions and isn't bothered when his words upsets others. He also dislikes his naps being disturbed. He does like to know news of the world, but when he swims under ships, those on board tend to freak out a bit. For those that don't automatically get aggressive, he'll swim above and ask for news or he'll climb/ fly to the deck and ask questions. His method of asking is a rude though. He tends to keep asking questions until he gets answered or he gets bored, which ever is first. When he has no more questions or he gets bored, he leaves by diving back under the water without any warning. This is a Orakovan in the prime of his life, he is middle aged and looking to strengthen his magic and toughen up even more. He is considering becoming a Khehorian to become even stronger, but is not sure if he truly wants to do this yet. |

Biography/Background:
History
Imoogi was hatched late from an egg that was bigger then his siblings, or any other normal egg for that matter. A month after his siblings had hatched, he still hadn't so much as twitched inside of his egg. His mother talked to the egg and upon receiving no answer, examined it closer, discovering that he was completely asleep and actually wasn't really aware of the outside. The parents discussed what to do and decided to take him to the nearest shaman and ask him what to do. The shaman looked at the egg and cracked it open. The cracking of the egg spilled him onto the ground, rudely waking him up. His first reaction was to growl at the tall shadows that had woken him up and attempt to go back to sleep. As he slept his parents went and got food so that after an hour of sleeping, his stomach woke up, and he had food upon waking.
Newly born, he was almost the same size as his older siblings already. His parents were happy that all their eggs were finally hatched, but Imoogi wasn't happy about being woken up and placed into this bright world. As Orakoi, he was always hungry. After that point his parents never had any free time, because he ate more than his two siblings combined, so they had to hunt enough to feed what felt like 5 hungry Orakoi. He grew quickly and started wandering away from the nest looking for food when he could keep to his feet for over an hour. As he was just a baby he had no clue how to hunt, so he usually ended up eating whatever plants where nearby while he waited for his parents to return with food.
One time, when he and his siblings were all bigger, they wandered off and got lost. Their parents had a complete beak down when they returned to find an empty nest. They searched frantically before coming across the three Orakoi sleeping in the nest of another set of Khehora parents who where amused at the wandering children who had curled up around the unhatched eggs.
When his siblings got into trouble he had usually lead them to it and started the trouble. His parents were exasperated at their oldest child causing problems and then getting his younger siblings involved. They were glad when he decided to start exploring after reaching the Orakoir stage. He left the nest and returned sporadically with news of the fights he had gotten into and the places he had seen.
However, one time when he was a young Orakkovan he ran into trouble he couldn't get out of. He was exploring in the middle of a desert when lightning struck out of a clear sky. He crashed down to earth but the lightning continued to strike near him. He would have died had not a magescian mage come along and used the earth to hide him. The Kiandri dragons who had originally struck him with lightning came down to where the earth shielded him and pounded on it trying to break through. When they couldn't, they got bored and left. Since it took a couple of hours for the Kiandri dragons to get bored and leave, he was trapped under rock. The magscian mage came over once the dragons had flown off and reliased him and healed him. It was dovaa hybrid that had helped him. The unknown dovaa lady mage apologized for not being able to do more but that she was too weak to take on 5 fully grown Kiandris at this point in time. She healed him up to the point where he could walk and then they walked out of the desert to the ocean where they parted ways.
The lightning strike has left him with both a fear of flying high in an empty sky which has transmuted into a fear of heights when he looks over edges, and the walk to the coast filled him with disgust for the land, he would rather swim then walk any day.
Since this encounter he has stayed near water, growing ever bigger and stronger. Now days he spends weeks away from any sight of land, simply swimming around in the ocean. He has had several encounters where, swimming a couple of meters under the surface, Magescians have noticed his abnormally large shadow and panicked. When he swam closer to examine these tiny beings, they attacked him. Since he himself views bigger people as a challenge not a threat, he doesn't realize how his abnormal size can scare others. So he thinks that the Magescians attacked him for simply approaching. If there is any warlike maneuvers that occur on a ship he will capsize the ship and swim away. He will only save those who are Dovaa hybrids. If the ship simply panics, or doesn't respond in a threatening manner, he swims along with it until he gets bored or hungry, then he leaves. Sometimes he will rise to the surface and speak, but this is very rare and he only does this if he is A) not hungry, or B) hasn't seen anyone for a year.
Even though he is an Orakoven now, he is still constantly hungry. When he is hungry his temper is short and and is easily riled. Since he is constantly hungry, the best time to approach him is right after he has eaten.
Family
Imoogi is Clan-less. He spends too much time swimming between places and sees no point in joining with an official clan.
His family lives in seaside caves near Taliuma on Eowyn.
Parents:
Father Ahanji, Mother Lajangi
His father is a Gaili Orakoven who uses his earth magic to help with repairs in town. His mother is a Peisio Orakoven who hunts the ocean and acts as a spotter for the town. Both of them are friendly with the town and see no problem with any magescians. Both of them are also well liked by the community as they help the town but stay outside of it to avoid the conflicts, so the town sees them as neutral entities. His parents disapprove of Imoogi's habit of sinking ships and getting into fights. They do love him, but every time he visits their home they end of trying to get him to "improve" his behavior, so he avoids their lair as much as possible. His parents are also considering having another nest, but given the recent issues of bonding are not sure they want to risk it. His parents live just to the south of Talimua on the mainland in a Orakoven sized house that his father made.
Siblings
Ah-jooh and Ah-mooh
Imoogi's 2 clutch mates are both male Gaili. Both Ah-jooh and Ah-mooh are normal size, and in fact are almost identical. They are a solid shiny brown color with a darker brown on their underbellies. Their wings and horns are the same rich brown color as the underbelly. The only identifying factor between the two is the different eye color. Ah-jooh has the lighter brown eyes and Ah-mooh has the darker eye color. Ah-jooh is quick to anger but also loves working magic on the earth as often as he can. Ah-mooh almost never gets angry but he prefers to not use magic. Neither of them feels like becoming a Khehorian, they like their appearance. Both of them help out in Talimua so that the locals don't bother them. Both of them like hunting and exploring, but they dislike having to kill dragons though they do understand that it is a fact of life. Both of them live on an island that lies to the northwest of Talimua. They like having the water around cause it means that Imoogi visits more often. The three siblings all like each other very much and get along. Imoogi uses their lair as a safe place and likes to visit and tell them of what he has done and discovered. its is only recently that he has started to bring back objects. His brothers have however told him that he will need to find his own lair to stash stuff in as already have filled their lair with random junk. Both Ah-jooh adn Ah-mooh are packrats.
Other
Imoogi doesn't know of any other family members as his parents have never mentioned any to him. They might exist, but he does not know of them.
